"Paul Joffe employs the power of photography to wield a calming influence and lift the spirits of viewers. The scope of his vision transcends the mundane and the ephemeral . These enduring images, designed to inspire and uplift, offer a respire from the windowless landscapes of the urban and suburban environments.
As a pilot since childhood, and a student of weather systems, Paul seeks out optimal temperatures and dew points which yield the most exquisite cloud formations to capture them with his lens. He accomplishes this by simultaneously piloting the Cessna and aiming his camera -- sometimes in below-freezing temperatures and often with the door removed."
