As a pilot since childhood, and a student of weather systems, Paul seeks out optimal temperatures and dew points which yield the most exquisite cloud formations to capture them with his lens. He accomplishes this by simultaneously piloting the Cessna and aiming his camera -- sometimes in below-freezing temperatures and often with the door removed."
